Who can use it?
Canadian patients can check the card for use with or without another plan, subject to the program’s terms and their prescription.
Your pharmacy or the program must confirm whether the card applies to your prescription. A savings card does not establish that treatment is appropriate or that an insurance claim will be approved.
How to get and use the card
- Check your prescription. Have the product name, DIN and package details ready. For any proposed switch, speak with your prescriber or pharmacist.
- Open the official Canadian program. Follow the program link above and read its current eligibility, privacy and consent terms. Complete any registration on that site.
- Ask the pharmacy to calculate the price. Request a breakdown of medication, dispensing, insurer payment and card contribution before buying.
- Keep the card and quote details. Confirm the terms for repeat fills, changes in prescribed quantity, and what happens if program benefits change.
Do not subtract the discount twice
Our Felix price records already reflect the patient-support discount stated on its drug pricing pages. A second estimated deduction would overstate savings. Ask whether a pharmacy quote is before or after a card contribution.
A 28-day manufacturer estimate also differs from a calendar month. Compare the same supply period and include pharmacy charges that the offer excludes.
Can insurance and a savings card work together?
Program rules differ. Share your insurance details with the pharmacist or official program, not with RxTally. Ask which payer is billed first, whether public coverage changes eligibility, and what balance remains yours to pay.
Clarity in every comparison.
